An Illustrator as a Foundation
My first love is illustration. I earned a bachelor’s degree from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2004, when, unfortunately, custom illustration was dying out. Even so, I would not trade that foundation for anything. In my free time, I still illustrate, collaborating with soulful businesses and bands who understand and appreciate the value of custom work.

For more than 30 years I’ve been playing live music. It continues to define who I am. I grew up playing in bars long before I was legally allowed to partake in anything they were selling. My first live show, in a bar, occurred the summer of 1993, the year before I entered my freshman year of high school. Below is a sampling of materials I designed for Hard Evidence, for whom I played bass. A defining chapter in my life, Hard Evidence brought forth a record contract and the opportunity to travel far and wide.
