The Situation
Rolls-Royce, a new client, was looking for an interactive application showcasing their AE 1107F engine used in the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA). Rolls-Royce needed to deliver information to their perspective segmented audiences made up of individuals with different government clearance levels.

The Creative Approach
Rather than build separate applications that would require a presenter or user to launch multiple variants or risk sharing the wrong information, we built a tiered application that allowed Rolls-Royce officials to enter a secure code to "unlock" controlled unclassified information (CUI) and run the application for a cleared audience.
The Audience
The 1107F comes from a family of proven, low-risk engines. Rolls-Royce's aim was to showcase this optimized end-to-end solution to the U.S. Army and share the facts about this reliable integrated propulsion system. Although the bulk of the content we developed was for a smaller, government-cleared audience, there was still an executive-level amount of information that could be shared with the general public.
What you see below is a brief and limited version of the publicly viewable interactive application.

The Results
Rolls-Royce debuted the application in their 2024 AAAA trade show booth. The limited application was available for general use, but when a visitor with proper clearance arrived, a Rolls-Royce team member brought them to a secure room in the booth and shared the full interactive with more in-depth information.
The application was such a success with their audiences that Rolls-Royce came back for an even additional tier of the interactive to be added. They are currently in talks internally to do a similar approach for their other engines across the company.
